![]() xCBL 3.5 Document Samples (XSDL Version) The XSDL version of xCBL 3.5 was defined with the same goal in mind as the XDR and DTD versions of xCBL always have been. This is that an instance document valid against the SOX version would also be valid against the XSDL version, with the only alteration needed being to the very top part of the instance, which references the schema to be used. In the case of XSDL, this reference does not have to be given at all, or it can be made explicitly by using the xsi:schemaLocation attribute. For these samples we have included the xsi:schemaLocation attribute. There are two distinct sets of samples, which correspond to the two formats of XSDL schemas which we are making available (see the XSDL schema download page for more information). Namespace Change As of September 2002, the namespace of the XSDL Schema versions (and therefore also the samples) has changed. This was done due to the fact that the informal uri scheme that we were using ("publicid") came into naming conflict with a formal urn nid scheme. Although technically not an issue (as one is a urn, one a uri), we are planning to go through the process of formally submitting the uri scheme and thought that it was too confusing, so we have renamed our scheme RRN (Resolvable Resource Name) and are planning to submit this to the relevant bodies. The structure of the schemas has not changed in any way. If you have any questions on this please send them to the mailing list which the xCBL team monitor and we will try and address them. The following xCBL 3.5 XSDL components are available for downloading free of charge. |
